Stroke old 340 or new crate engine

Still at the machine shop. I will let you Know. If you want to check out the thread it's call "Well it Finally Happened". 340 blocks are getting hard to come by. I had a spare block but it turned out that I would have to sleeve cylinders 2 & 4. I wasn't putting this kind of money into a repaired block. Ended up finding a stock bore bare block for $400.00.
