How to get into the trunk of a 65 Barracuda????

Putty knife wont work. Just tried.It is against a lip. Its particle board. So wouldnt be hard to break as a last resort.
Myself, the plug in the spare tire well is about 2-1/2” so gives room to see up to the bolts. Straight up easy. Like 10 minutes.
