Hi all

I'm looking for a A body 8 3/4 rear end with posi and BBP with high way gears

Must be in good working order with no leaks or bearing issues

For my 1972 Demon

I'm located in Toronto Ontario

Thanks all

No such thing as a 8-3/4 with BBP either unless it had BBP axles put in at a later date or axle flanges drilled for them....They were all SBP from the factory

so I live in north western-ish Massachusetts (I can be in Albany in an hour) and I do have an 8.75 that I would sell. It has Moser axles with 4.75 (yea - Chevy) bolt pattern, green bearings, Wilwood brakes w/e-brake and the perches have been moved inboard. 3.23 gears it's a 489. Feel free to PM me if you would like to discuss this.

I have an 8 3/4 out of a 68 GTS that has an open 3:23 in good condition. I am about 4 hours east of you. PM me if interested.

I have an a body rear, but most likely shipping will kill the deal
Agreed. Those big parts are hard and expensive to ship. A rear end would be good to get at a swap meet unless you could find one within close driving distance.

Do you need everything? Like ready to bolt in.
I have one; narrowed, with perches moved in for the Mopar offset hangers. Yes 5on4.5 axles shortened and resplined. Your choice of 2.76/2.94/3.23/3.55, And yes a reconditioned cone-type SG, preloaded to 120ftlbs turning torque. These will not be 2881489s. You can specify large or small yoke.
The rear is still under my FormulaS. It accepts 15 x 10 rims (also available) with a 4.5 bs and fits inside the stock Barracuda tubs. It is not currently leaking. I could reseal it for you. The 3.55s are slightly noisy, and have been for over 10 years. It's not a bearing noise, and it's not a pattern problem, it's just the way it is,lol.
It will not bolt into your Demon unless you move the springs inboard.

I can also supply a totally stock complete rear end, but the axles will be 5 of 4" bolt circle, and with tapered bearings.
Both can be had with 10" backing plates installed.

PM me if interested.
