oil change question

Long filter, 5 quarts with a filter. Like the other guys said and you as well, your Made in China dipstick is inaccurate.

I would on the next oil change, drain the oil, change the filter, put 5 quarts in, then start it and see where it is on the dipstick... Then scribe a mark on the dipstick to show where the full point really is...

It sounds like the dipstick is off and the full mark on the china dipstick is actually 1/2 quart low...
