I've been hunting around for a way to put one piece windows in my 70 dart. I understand I can swap the doors from a 73-76. my doors are in amazing shape and I hate to change the whole door. does anyone know if the later model regulator can be swapped in? has anyone done this and is it a PIA? thanks

Hey don't know if you remember the following link in my other post, but this guy had 4 Dusters 73-74 I think two had complete doors. Not sure if the glass from a duster will work on your Dart though.

Big M Automotive

This guy has a TON of Old Iron. It's just fun to walk the yard and dream. He usually has a large selection of rollers he sales as project cars, but it's all makes and models not just Mopar. Last time I was out there he had 4 Dusters each 1973 or newer. Two of them were stacked and had a lot stripped already. I know I got the glove box covers from two of them, door handles, cups, visors and sill plates. Some I'm using on my car and everything else I traded or sold to a FABO member.

There were two ther mostly complete cars...
One of them was a Hang 10, console shift, sunroof factory car. Can't remember the engine code for it. And one more 74. These belonged to a cool local MOPAR collector I've got to know and he's let me pull parts on some of his stuff for really awesome prices. He'd just traded them to Big M for a couple of old wagons. Said they had been through some local flooding at his ranch.

The guy at Big M can be hard to get a hold of but when you get him he is reall easy to deal with and usually really helpful, he lives kind of in the center of the yard so if you can't find Him in the shop or yard, he might be watching TV... His prices were about average for small stuff, I think he quoted my $300 for a complete automatic shift console.

I bought a 73 dart yesterday so I have doors now. I was under the impression that duster doors wouldn't work.
