I must agree, that's probably what's so intriguing about this whole thing. The first reaction almost always is to throw in a V8. Now I've got a solid car with the original /6 and I'm thinking it's almost my duty to revive this car and restore it to it's former glory. My daily driver is the perfect example, 71 Swinger, original slant 6, yanked for a 340.
