Hurst competition plus vs OEM hurst?

My son apparently has the supershifter.. - "the the ONLY difference in the between the competition plus and the supershifter2(etc) is the reverse lockout that requires you to push down to get into the reverse gate."

That might be another point.........the reverse lockout for a CP is a completely separate add on.......and can be added right onto a CP
