Opinion on Clifford mods for Slant 6 motors

I completely rebuilt the 225 in my 64 Val.
+.040, .080 milled and rebuilt head, pocket ported by me, gasket matched, mild ported stock intake, reground Oregon cam, larger ehhaust, NGK extended nose plugs. 3.23 gear and 3 on the tree and I have no problem at all keeping up with traffic. It'll easily smoke the tires if I wanted but that's kid stuff. Drove it 320 miles each way to Carlisle and got 23.8 MPG going there on one tank. I wanted to experience what my dad went through so it still has points ignition for now. Untouched in 2500 trouble free miles.
I already have 2 small block cudas and an entire spare 340 4 speed that I easily could've rebuilt and swapped in but I wanted a slanty. Now that I've driven it "stock" I've acquired a 2 barrel intake and carb and it may get a Pishta pipe sometime in the future.
Driving around with the top down people ask all the time "Slant 6?" followed by "pushbutton trans"?
