On My 70 Duster, the paint code, on the fender tag, and on the window sticker, is L1. -- The actual color is (or like) W1. -- The paint appears to be original, under the car, all of the nooks, and crannies etc. -- Looks like Ma Mopar screwed up. -- Has anyone experienced this ?

No mine is Dark Blue Metallic.

I like the color. It looks like L1 though. W1 was the only white that year. L1 is a grey/white and W1 is closer to pure white.

This paint manufacturer is a bit different.

Do you have a few more pics of your car in different light?

My dart paint code is B7 dark blue. But the jambs, trunk, floor, etc are all light blue like B5. The car body was repainted at some point in a single stage dark blue. I'm guessing that the bodyshop read the EB7 code on the tag, mixed it up and sprayed it before they realized that the car was actually a lighter B5.

I happen to prefer the B5 blue. So that's what its getting painted.

That's crazy. It does look like W1 Alpine white in those photos.

That looks like L1 to me. My Dart is L1 and looks similar. Have had people tell me the car isn’t beige it’s white. The color on that paint chip chart is a lot darker then the actual color.

It looks like L1 is more of a almond color

If it was W1 it would look closer to the Direct Connection plate you have on it. W1 is really white.

I just talked to the Guy that I bought it from. -- He's a Bodyman, and He says it's L1. -- It looks lighter, than the charts, but He convinced Me. -- Enough of this. -- Go eat some Turkey.
