Show That Lowered A-body!

That's a nice-looking original Dart. You've go about as much tire under it as the wheels will take, and that looks good too. The car 'sets' just right. Why not just clean up the quarter panel and drive it for what it is -- an Immortal Dodge Dart. You'll be happier.

just got mine back from the chassis shop. i am going to put shorter tires on the front and rear. currently the fronts are 25.8" tall. going to a 22.5 or so tall front runner and a 26x8.5 rear(class legal slick mw8.5ra) the car will sit pretty darn low. i am pretty low as it is as my trans pan is the lowest point and then the current oil pan but ill be ditching it for a 10qt full race sump now. i have about 4-5" total now but that is without my monster self in it or complete assembled engine as well. so im sure it will sit very low once loaded down with all the pieces in place. i can go to a 2" drop spindle if i want and i may do so. that will give me more suspension travel i can adjust or lengthen the coilover setup if need be. rear is adjustable at both the front and rear shackle hangers. i plan on changing them up similar to a team z style adjustable stang mount adjuster. i can go up or down now total of 2" now and have a 1.5" drop block in as well. pics are with 275 mt radials on 8" wheels. stock multileaf springs yet to get the mono leafs till at full weight and height selected. wont be as low as i want due to suspension travel needs to work on the strip and ride height will very till final tuning is found for best results on sloppy tracks. lol

front end is solid in place as no coilovers are in place just rods to keep the control arms from resting on bump stops.

How about lowered Duster under construction. 71, 5.9 factory injection 833 od.

I'll be re doing my hood and bumpers in carbon fiber. When the time comes I'll start a thread hopefully being able to help thoes that wish to attack the project on there own.
Did this ever happen? I’m considering painting my Duster black eventually and might try a wrap first to see what a pain in the *** it is to keep clean.

prolly sit an inch lower once its sprung with coilovers all around. currently solid on the front end and facing down hill so even the back is sitting higher than it does in the flat garage surface.
