I am a big Edd fan as well, but I watched anyway. I don't have anything against the new guy. Mike was the problem imho. And I'll be watching the Barracuda episode.

I agree. Ed would take things apart that weren't meant to be serviced and fix a broken wire or a worn bush. This new season they don't show as much technical work and more ephasis has been placed on Mike and his "wheeling and dealing". That's the direction they told us they would be going so it was no surprise.

I'll continue to watch the show in anticipation of Ed's new project coming out. He has several offers and wants to do a show his way. I say good for him!
