Kelsey Hayes setup lower ball joint to spindle bolts

I'm refering to the Australian style spindle which is slightly different to the US one. I'm sure Chrysler had a reason for the curved surface otherwise they would have just used a plain headed bolt. I just found it curious the US early disc brake appears to use the same bolt as our locally built cars and might provide a replacement.

BTW I asked if there was a source of these bolts either as NOS or reproduction. I wasn't looking to debate the merits of OEM vs hardware store bolts.

Hey, how did you do with the oem style bolts? any luck. I notice they do make contact when you lock the wheel out, I will probably end up with a generic grade 8, but would prefer the dome head.
