Front disc for 17 inch wheels

The Brembo’s? Yeah they’re pretty big. I wouldn’t be surprised if the options available to fit a 17” wheel with those would be pretty limited.

The cobra style calipers are smaller. I’m sure not every 17” wheel will work, but there should be some good options. If they clear the narrow little G35 spare I’ve got they should clear a lot of stuff.

The Brembo-like calipers are physically big, but if you look at the actual contact patch, it's not that large. With a low enough profile caliper, the general rule of thumb is to take the wheel diameter (17") and subtract it by 4" and that's the largest rotor you could possibly get away with (13" in this case). But it all depends on the wheels too. I have a friend with 14" rotors and Mercedes 8 piston Brembos on a forged 2 piece wheel. It's tight, but it all fits. He made his own caliper brackets.

I'd think any OE wheel would be questionable as thy want a high reliability and low cost (meaning thicker/heavier wheels). But if you got an Enkei, or a wheel that tries to stay on the lighter side or racing applications, you may be able to get away with it more easily.
