The echlin MO3000 rotor tang....loose?

Hey on my dart slant, the 66, I put one one of those MO3000 rotors, it was tight. NOw one year later I inspect it and the little tang on the rotor is loose? Isn't that a concern? Or does it not matter??
Is there a fix, or just replace. I am pretty sure it has Lifetime warranty?

They (whoever they are) warn about hitting the cap if it's not absolutely centered with the MO3000 rotor, especially with some aftermarket manufacturer's caps.
It could also be heat cycle related, but it should be replaced in either case.
