The echlin MO3000 rotor tang....loose?

rotor - 1.jpg Great ideas. So check this out. The rotor looks to be making full contact with the terminals, as the tip is worn and grooved down. Also lots of metal "dust" in the cap and in the distributor. What does this all mean? This is a NOS distributor I bought last year. I have put maybe 200 miles on it. It can't be worn out?? Of course now that the terminals are nicely worn down, maybe I need to stick with a lower profile rotor? Or ??? Custom something?? The cap I am using is that Blue CH410. Help.... In the meantime I am getting that Distributor Recurved, so I hope it isnt funked up.
