67 Barracuda in a LX Body

-
Any clues on the ET 1/4 mile on this combination?
It is a 6.1 hooked to a NAG1
Don't know the weight, but I guess is lighter than the original SRT8

Fast comes to mind :) Very cool build sir nice indeed :thumbsup:

Tell us more about how you did it!!!!!! A friend of mine put a '06 200 5.7 into a '70 Dart
I saw a green 70 Dart on a '06 Charger, that is the only a body in a lx body swap that is on the internet, they did a great job, the difference is that I will keep barracudas original interior and dashboard, except for the column, shifter and pedals.

That would be this one. He used a Cadillac front clip and strut towers to bring the wheels in. Are your wheels hanging out of the fenders? Or did you narrow the front end?

WOW. I do not understand how anyone does this kind of thing. Seems like I saw one someone combined a 69-70 Charger with a late model platform
Ive seen some 60s Chargers on modern platforms, but coming it in a Chrysler a body is a more tight fit

We kept the original path track of the SRT8, it was much easier, and didn't really care about the original tiny look, it is only 8 inches wider (4 inches each side) and we solved it with the wheel offset, it also was about 15 inches longer, so we cut the floor and put it back together, we also had to cut the shaft and brake lines.

Shortening the wheelbase is a given. Looks like you made your rocker panels taller

Looks like the front end needs to be tubbed out to cover the massive track width

I am doing a 67 long back with a twin turbo blow trhough setup 392 cid stroker off of a 5.7. My car has been narrowed and tubbed. It is cooil to see the body swaps.... Great work yall.
