My brother-in-law owns three coin shops...one in Sioux City Iowa, one in Omaha, Ne and one in Storm Lake, Iowa. If you'd like PM me and i can give you his number.

Not a true collector, more of a gatherer. Been doing so since I was a kid off and on. Trying to fill slots in books with the best that come through my hands ( extremely few uncirculated).

I know dimes, quarters and half dollars prior to 1964 has silver in them. Past that, I'm pretty useless.

I have 17 pounds of pre 64 half dollars squirreled away, does that count?

Same here.

I like mercury dimes the most. I have a lot of circulated ones, nothing worth much but pretty to look at

:)

i used to collect everything from half dollars up to 100 dollar bills
then i got married and had kids...now im happy if i can find enough coins for a cup of coffee

Maybe ............ what do you want to know?

I collected stamps as a kid, still got a box about a foot deep with loose ones and albums. Love the 30's-60's stamps. Have the complete WWII overrun countries set mint.

Dude, if the price of silver skyrockets like some experts think it will. You could be sitting on a nice chunk of change (pun intended).

My dad passed away & he has a small collection of varies coins. My sister & I want see if they are worth anything. Just might help us with bills. Every site I get on has a different opion & value. The only thing I found out is the bicentennial coins are not worth anything but face value.

Without taking them to a qualified appraiser you will probably get different opinions. Condition can vary so much that an average person could not distinguish between two grades while value difference can be considerable. Doubtful if you have anything of great value but one never knows. Have an expert look at them
