this only holds true in stock blocks your not doing anything to, other then dropping it in
the difference in core price between that 340 and 360 can easily mean you can afford to put aluminum heads on that 360, while keep the stock unported heads on the 340
if you intend to do ANYTHING to the block, go with the cheaper, bigger faster 360
