Don't go by the wire colors, go by the POSITION in the connector IE battery going TO switch should be 5th from the top regardless of color

This. Do not ever, under any circumstances trust the color of the wire insulation. :lol:
It's all sorted out now. Thanks guys for the help. Had to do some crazy tracing through years of hackery........lol.
