Hi Miley!

@Joeychgo i have one I got last year for a Christmas gift. Not bad quality. Though I wouldn't try to do anything that has a lot of torque as it does get some flex when extended on high torque nuts/bolts.

Seems kind of like a gimmick.

That said, they could be really handy working in tight spots, and adjusting the length of the ratchet to the space you have to work would be pretty nice. Probably work just fine in a lot of situations, but I don't think I would want to put a lot of torque on them. I be the 1/4" and 3/8" ones would work pretty well, not sure I would bother with the 1/2" just because of the torque factor.

Something that would be handy for an enthusiast that you probably wouldn't find in a professional's box.

my 1/2 drive working great for 5 years. tired of rotating the crank with the old short craftsman ratchet to adjust the rockers. went to sears and lowes and they did not have a ratchet in the length I needed. Harbor freight and a Pitsburgh pro for $15.00

why would anyone need an extendable 1/4" ratchet? you can strip or break any bolt that small with a short handle. i do have an extendable 1/2" ratchet for those stubborn jobs, but it's a different brand, and probably 25 years old.

I have sockets that go to 9/16. I use the 1/4 inch often especially on newer cars. 10,13,15mm. And the long handle will get you down in tight spots.

i bought a 1/2 inch from harbor freight a couple years ago, dont recall the price. it comes in handy for reaching a bolt way down in the engine bay.

Ah, yeah... I wasn't thinking "reach", I was thinking "leverage". Do the handles lock at the extended setting? The one I have doesn't -- it just slides, which makes it useless for reach -- it's just a glorified cheater bar.

They lock. You pull back on the sleeve and they lock in 3 positions.

Never seen them till just now, I do have a 1/2 lug wrench like these I have had for well over 7 to 8 years from napa and it is hard to keep up with it, I have two sons

Yep, Memikie likie

I have 3 long ratchets, use them daily. Being able to adjust woul be nice, strectch it, crack bolt and collapse for a short swing.

They work pretty well. You just dont put a pipe on them lol.

Did you see it on ChrisFix on youtube? That's the first thing I thought. They do look like the ones at Harbor Freight as well, except they have a 1/4+3/8 combo and a seperate 1/2"
