I have not been able to decipher the tag to figure out what colors the car originally came out with.

I wouldn’t doubt that your interior has been painted at one point in time, I’ve painted mine as well. A lot of the original pieces of the car was faded and rusted from sitting in a junkyard for many years. If you post a picture of your tag on this site I bet some guys on here will be able to read it for you. :)
