It's winter, whats your projects

-
On my 76 Dart Sport, I will definitely change my tired master cylinder with a newly rebuilt one I got for free and change the rear cylinders too unless I find something else that is cheap I could do as my budget is very close to nil.

My project for the winter is to get all i can get done, done, hopefully not replace half the car,but we will see what i can get done,i dont have much hope of getting the car on the road next summer either but if i can make that happen it would make me real happy.

There is so much to do that i just cant make a list of it,since it would probably make me give up,will just try to get a few things done here and there and hope i see alitle progress, car has not been on the road for along time.

Oh, almost forgot. Got to make 1100 mi trip back to old home state of Missouri and pick up my 62 Lancer 2 door post car, 170 3 on tree., get back here and get it running. Change over to A833OD and floor shift!!!!! Body paint work done year or so ago. Needs exhaust, brakes, maybe a little front end parts?? front seat recovered.
It was actually a pace car for a dirt track years decades back...
Ya have to wonder why anyone would all it a RoadToad!!!!!!! ha

Good, im not the only one that's busy. As much as I wish I lived in a warm climate, it's nice to have a brake from racing.

Got this gauge cluster for my 34. I might clean the bench and give it a going over. Might send it out. Keep going on the other stuff..... know any good gauge rebuild tricks?

Have a great turkey day.

Let's see...

3 motor swaps
Rebuild this 8 3/4" rear into a LBP
Cut out and replace the floorpan in the convertible
Front and rear sway bars on the blue 66
CHange the seat covers, doorpanels and carpet in the GTX

And before the snow sets in...

Fix the plow truck
Part out these 3 Cuda's and send em off to the crusher

That should keep me busy!!

Ready plow truck for winter: fix wipers, attach blade, replace hoses; replace tractor battery, finish GF's Santa Fe repairs, finish my LHS repairs, finish 273 project, finish Falcon project, start Chevelle project (flipper car of mine), service the furnace, replace Romex in barn with BX & upgrade lighting and outlets, replace bathroom fan, install new lighting in step daughter's room...

Come on up Mike, I'll put you up!! Might have to call Uli in as well, now that would be a winning team!!

Well, hows the projects coming along? We are almost into the new year! So far I finished what I said I would do on the wifes duster.
My 65 dart took a turn for the worst. Everything I planned on is on hold for things that are easier to do now than later. Like welding up all the holes in the firewall, new wilwood brakes..... while the engine is out, lets re-ring and bearing it......... Hey Kevko has a hell of a deal on deep sump oil pans that will help the starvation issue that is making me replace the bearings and getting the crank turned.....
Automotive ADHD sucks.....lol

Get it running, driving and STOPPING. make it so it starts with a key rather than a big screwdriver across the solenoid ...LOL

I am going with a 225/ 833 / 8.8 combo

I recently dropped in a running slant just to get running but eventually upgrade the engine with a hopped up 225 that I am building with higher compression pistons, meaner cam and Clifford 4bb../ header set up

Make a list,wants and needs
It will actually feel good to scratch them off, change and add items.
Big sheet of paper stapled to plywood.
Helped a couple guys build cars, they could see progress and kept things balanced that way.
Nicest thing is take a photo, easy to refer to when standing at the parts counter. In case you are forgetful. Like me.

I forgot.
318 in shop, intake cleaned up,valve covers arrived and lined up headers.
As soon as gasket set lands, will pull engine down and see whats inside.

We (my bro and I) plan on doing this full time. We both just over 2 years now from retirement and are anxious to get at 'er!
In waiting are a 31 chev coupe 327 auto, a 69 road runner 426 6 speed and a 70 swinger 340 auto... and possibly a 46 ford 302 auto 'shop truck'... no shortage of projects here!

Paint while NO bugs are out!?? ha

Got the 29 Chrysler up on stands getting ready for a clutch change, Hemi 4spd. Then I need to get the Barracuda up in the air, have a clunking noise in the rear end. 8 1/4 sure grip.

For the Dart, Pulled the heads and took them in for a refresh. Haven't done too much on the car but got a few early christmas present, Jegs plasma arc, and wilwood front Disc's. going to work on the frame connectors and patching a couple of spots on the floor pan.

Breakstuff, are you using the stock front suspension on the 65 dart and will that Kevko pan fit? I' have the 8qt. milidon pan but i think I'll have to mod it a bit to fit.

Haven't touched the challenger.

I will be polishing the 3 miles of trim on my Power Wagon and putting it back together.
