I'm 99% sure Mopar Action did either a feature or a tech. article on something like this, although I believe they used the Mitsubishi version. Seem to remember they started with a 4 banger and were actually able to use the auto trans behind a swapped-in 360. I can look for the article if it might help, just take me a day or two. Saw one at a show years ago with a big block mounted in the bed, crudely backyard engineered and really cool!
