Project Crusty Biscuit (65 Plymouth Valiant)

Wow! I was finally able to get some work done on the car this weekend. I had to spend my last couple weekends building a fence.
I started some repairs on the outer cowl patching some rust and doing a few custom things:A3704C46-CA78-4810-B3BD-CD40BF71BE0A.jpegE989EB02-7CDB-490F-BAAC-5D33CE39B1DE.jpegFAE2D655-B2DA-427D-AC20-6FC15B2A95AA.jpeg825FF5A0-9CF3-4927-987D-94E1151E3119.jpegBF9EC7C0-627E-41F3-91CB-738A63B83568.jpeg67CC26FB-E8FF-41B3-85DE-A002F6DFA3C4.jpeg41F577BA-54FF-4646-B194-E014670377EA.jpeg7426F965-A0EE-406A-97D7-A3F7325ABFC9.jpeg0FA447B0-F642-405A-82DE-71BB049AA112.jpegF0721BB9-F140-4CA9-9D91-AA5142504CB6.jpeg8FE27C5C-9913-4285-9721-E9A083F8A0C1.jpegF5E08061-AEC2-4F97-B264-C58061752875.jpeg283D662A-00EE-4D9E-9CBC-E4A812C92811.jpeg

In the future I plan on going with a aftermarket ac system without a fresh air intake so I decided to close off the entire outside of the cowl by deleting the vent and welding up the spray nozzle holes. I might replace them with the flush mount kind at a later time.
A slight amount of warpage occurred when I was welding everything together so I will definitely have to spend some time on it with my hammer and dolly. I will fine grind all of the welds once the piece is welded in place on the car. I am almost ready to do that but fist I’m going to POR15 the inside of the inner and outer cowl and seam seal the two pieces together.
