It was 40 last night here and I was shivering in bed (i had a fever too) you Northern guys got to realize houses out here in the west coast are not as well insulated as your igloos back east so 40 is cold. It was actually about 80 here today.
The irony of this is that I had a house here in the detroit area that was built in 1964 and had no wall insulation. Amazing what a gas furnace can heat, it actually wasn't that expensive because the place was pretty air tight.
Its 8 here right now. At least I don't live in the Erie PA area like I did when I was a kid where they have gotten 80"+ of snow since Christmas
