LD340 vs other intakes
Impressive numbers, what stroke you running? I'm trying to decide 3.79 or 4.00 inch for my 340 stroker build. 65'

4" stroke and .040 over to net 418 C.I.
My builder got a custom grind from his friends at Crane Cams
Camshaft: SR246/362-2S-8IG , .543/.561 L/S: 104 Int. C/L: 108
I don't know what all that means but I love driving it!
He built engines for Petty Racing for 20 years before going into business for himself.
He asked what I wanted and I told him, "Gobbs of low to mid-range torque, some lope at idle but not to lurch and lope down the street at low RPM, let the HP fall where it will and run on pump gas."
Would have been happy with 400 HP and 450 Torque.
Smiled for a week after dyno day and every time I drive it.
Always thought the 340 before stroking it was pretty snappy. Well, now it's really snappy.
