Any old timers who might be familiar with Raceway Park E-Town NJ back in 1990's ? trying to find a fellow who restored & raced the car my son & myself own now. 1971 lemon twist Ply Duster. found his race card in car. car was featured in MCG mag April 1999. Dave Bishop, who I would like to find mag says he used to live in Old Bridge NJ. mag says he had an uncle-Rich Diorio who had a body shop in South River NJ help him restore it. Ring any bells out there ? pics of the mag cover, his race card found in car & in a show we had it in @ DAFB Dover De. this past year.

I live close to raceway park. The same people still own it. If not the guy that take the the pic's has a store there.I will ask around

I did message back n forth on fb with a gentleman named Dave Bishop who is a well known photographer around the drag strip circuit for a long time but apparently not the same gent. Think this photographer lives in Md. & has a news paper Drag World ? Thanks for any help. Diorio's body shop in South River is another lead i'm trying to follow.Thanks.Mike

do you think we are thinking of the same Bishop? coincidence if there were more than 1 Dave Bishop but stranger things have happened. Happy New Year & thanks for your attention. ANY help is appreciated. Mike.

that's the one but phone is disconnected. I think I may have found a gent that is connected to the shop somehow (on FB) reached out but no reply yet. someone on here will likely remember something. just takes time. pics of some cars on his fb page has the shops name on the side of the car. I may have posted this in a spot where it may not get as much exposure, ?? Thanks for your reply BadSport. HAPPYNEWYEAR!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda think that is the gentleman I found on fb. has a 55-56 chev with body shop's name on his door. I have messaged the man but have heard nothing back. seems his page is current. believe it may be his nephew Dave Bishop who belonged to our Duster. thanks for the reply & that site looks interesting.
