I haven't been on here in awhile. Some of you know that I have had my 1969 Dart 340 4 speed swinger for 27 years now. Its been in the back of storage for around 12 years now as I have been collecting parts and parts cars. My 10 year old son is on me to get it out (its now his). My question is how "rare" is it? It is a original V02-Two tone paint top is T3-Honey Bronze metallic and the body is W1-White. The kicker is it is a V8R-Red sport stripe car as well. Brown bench interior non console car. I have the original 340 built for it as well. I am a performance guy at heart but am leaning toward a factory repaint and more oem resto. Thoughts for places I can check to find more 2 tone 69 Swingers or even V8R numbers. Thanks yall.

Wow. I wanna see pictures! Sounds like a Friday shift car or was ordered by a color blind person.

I love odd color combinations. That one would look great brought back to stock condition. As far as rarity, I think there is a pretty good chance that not many others were made...but there is no way to be sure. The factory didn't keep track of multiple options like that.

Go back to factory colors.
I redoing a 69 4sp 340 Swinger V02 car as well right now. Its a R4 with TX9 top and interior with White stripe originaly but I am going white interior and roof to due to intense heat here in the summers.

You'll never see another one like that,I'm pretty sure.I'd imagine that someone must have special ordered that combo.

V02 cars are pretty rare in itself, but your color combination is very likely the only one made!! Odd color combo, but very, very cool!!!! I would without question put that car back to as original as possible!!!

I agree, restore it and we definitely need pictures. Sounds very interesting!

Very cool color combination.

Someone mentioned a possible special order but that had a code Y39 & was used for items not on the normal menu.

All mentioned here was available, so ordered perhaps, but not a special order.

I would love to see it as is & when completed also.

You gonna come back with pics or are you full of crap or a drive by or what? Sounds like a cool car.
