I left the torsion bars, as the car was a very hot street car that I raced occasionally and I wanted good weight transfer. Nothing has to be changed with the transmission cross member or mount. I even used the same drive shaft, but I had it shortened because I went from a 7.25 to an 8.75 rear axle. I simply located the stock V8 pedal and kickdown linkage assemblies. I later threw the kickdown assembly in the ditch, because I put a race oriented 904 in it with a manual valve body.
