1034A (amber) LIGHT BULBS

These bulbs were most commonly used on the 64/65 Barracuda grill turn/parking lights. Just wondering if anyone has a reliable source for these. Seems the well has run dry here in Canada. Rather than paint the standard clear 1034s I would rather source out some of the originals.

If you really want 1034A, with painted type coating, Dan Stern used to have them. 10 per box. minimum one box. (Bewarned of a new feature since I bought a box - you might have to put up with 3 paragraphs why he doesn't like the aesthetic.) If he doesn't and you can't find any in Canada, contact me - I doubt I'll need all of them in my lifetime.

As others have stated, the 1157 bulbs are generally used to replace 1034, so the need to manufacture (ie demand) is not there. Many (if not all) of the newer amber bulb tint the glass - so with clear lens parking lamps you can see the difference (say if you're judging for originality, or just like the look).

They don't quite agree, go figure, but both do indicate 1034 will draw a little less current for the turn signal and the turn signal filiment is not expected to last as long (as an 1157).
