Ugly Bastard.. 67 Barracuda Notch
Been a while since I posted, been working on it quite a bit lately. Sick of seeing it in the shop.
Installed a set of stripes from Challenger Gary.
Fitted '67 heater controls in my '68 dash (which for some reason everyone said couldn't be done).
Replumbed brakes, new master, new rear brakes. Drilled drums for 5x4.5" axles.
Steel wheels with dog dish caps.
Swapped small block K member with a Direct Connection big block A body spool mount K member I had.
Picked up a '69 383, swapped cam for a Comp Cams .280/.480, heavier valve springs, windage tray, etc. Sprayed it in Chrysler Turquoise. Still need intake, carb, ignition, water pump, and going to try out Schumacher Tri Y headers to hopefully clear Z bar.
New flywheel from 440Source, new clutch.
Today a friend and I installed the engine/,trans combo. Actually was fairly painless. Only catch was the spool mounts made it a little harder to slide the engine in.
It's coming along.
