273 Radiator for 340?

Here's a water pump that was thrown in with my short block, will try to look up numbers and figure out what it is.
That will interesting if you can find out any info based on the casting numbers.
'67 Part book shows 2 water pumps available for the 273
2448 315 w/o CAP
2585 385 w/ A/C, w/ CAP

Part numbers also show different impellers. With A/C might have had 6 instead of 8 vanes, and maybe a different pulley set.

Had to dig, but here is original and new one I put on in 2016. FYI, alt bracket bosses and pwr steering bosses were just off enough on the new one to be aggravating! Also an additional hole on new one.
That always sucks. I must have at least 3 aluminum LA ones on the shelf that failed in one way or another. I returned at least two A1 Cardone rebuilds one year. Well not quite, one never made off the parts store counter. LOL. Currently using Edelbrock's - nicely made, but required a little grinding to because of contact interference. I got so leary of rebuilt water pumps I was looking at sending my jeep'
s out for rebuilding. Found a couple of places but so far the aftermarket one is working.

My friend sent me a photo of an aluminum LA pump for the early (driver side) pump inlet. It was posted on FB. Unfortunately no info on who made it. Kills me that no one is making one today. Even for my Wagoneer, two companies make aluminum versions. One of 'em fits too!
