I made it, its fairly simple. Just take a gauge assembly and remove the gauges. Then I trimmed the plastic and left a small lip to epoxy the carbon fiber insert. I made some brackets out of 1/8" thick 2" wide 90 degree extruded aluminum to mount the digital dash to the carbon fiber and viola!
It is a pretty tight fit to get this into the stock location and mediocre drill bits wander quite a lot when drilling through the CF insert. So use good bits and a drill press if you have one. Below are the brackets I made:
