Mp degree wheel tool

im having the hardest time trying to figure out how to attach the old MP degree wheel tool on my crank shaft. The degree wheel too has a small hole with a notch in the middle. Any help is much appreciated

It should have come with an adapter.

My degree wheel was purchased in 1967 and the hole is 3/8 so I just drilled and tapped a 3/8 hole in a spare crank bolt and been doing it that way since 1980.
 
Thanks guys I magivered the Degree to work.
