Spent today @ the Barrett auction. Tons of awesome Mopars as well as brand X cool cars. If you've never been, I would highly recommend a visit while in town :D

This 71 Hemi Cuda was advertised as possibly the last one ever built. Beautiful in B5...

Been there many times. A must do for any car guy's bucket list. For me it was only to drool.

My wife retires in December, and recently I asked her where she'd like to go for a retirement trip. She told me she wants to go to the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale next year. She loves car shows and feels this auction is something we should do. Lucky man I am!!

So 6 pk I think you'd look good in the Blue Cuda!! Great pics have a GREAT time. Me and the others will be watching it on TV, starts tonight.

Did you see the chrysler tc by maserati? Lol. I walked past it on the way to our booth and had to double take. Didn' figure I would see one of those at BJ....right next to a fiero..lol

That 66 Valiant Signet is the exact same car as mine only it is cleaner but mine only has 58900 where this one has 79000 . Mine has all the little old lady's dings and dents but original is original so I don't fix them. I'm the 2nd owner.Be interesting to see what it goes for

Went to the auction 7 years in a row. The company I was working for at the time had a booth there so I was in it from before the start until after it wrapped up. It is an awesome car show, and there are a lot of other things to see too! There are 4 other auctions going on in the valley at the same time, plus the Pavilions show is huge durnig that time, definitely a bucket list thing for a car guy!

I agree Darter. Drooling is perfectly acceptable there & encouraged LOL :D

I missed the TC, but that's ok. There were Mopars galore & plenty of other things to see. Stopped at your Blueprint Engines tent, but you guys were busy starting the Cobra with the new Fi-Tech EFI setup. It sounded great!!

When you have a moment, put a bid in on that M-code Dart for me?....LOL

There were at least 4 wing cars on display for auction later this week.

Dar, I "work" for a different auction house, but might be able to arrange a bid on the M-code just for you :)

I'll post some pics of the other auction in the next few days!

Yup. The new efi systems are awesome. I will be around all week if you are still around.

I really need to get to AZ for this show... might be time to start arraigning it now. I'm sure the hotel costs and such all get jacked like crazy when there in town.

For someone who's never done AZ or the Auctions any suggestions, tips, tricks? I think I might have to look into it.

I would say depends what you are looking for. I was surprised at the number of what I would consider "normal" cars here. As In running driving cars going for 3000-4000 the first few days. Tv kinda leaves the impression that everything here is a 60k or higher car...and thats not the case. So they start early in the week with less expensive cars and work their way up. Lots of vehicles being sold for TONS LESS than what went into them. Get here earlier If you want something that is "finished" for a deal
