Best header

Good luck. There isn't a lot of room in an A body. Some people say TTI are the best fitting. I don't know how well they fit but they will lighten your wallet. I gave up and just went back to manifolds. For a street car you won't know the difference anyway. Also most of them you will need a mini starter but that was one of the better things I have put in all my cars :)

I have TTI headers on the wifes car. PM me and I'll show'em to you up front and personal like.
Otherwise, theres Dougs headers.

After those, I'm not entirely sure, but you'll probably be looking at Hedman hustlers with larger tubes and fender well headers.

TTI,S..have used them on 2 different duster yes they are expensive but well worth the money spent..

Dougs D453
or tti

Both are above the centerlink.

I've used both many times and I buy Dougs from autozone with a 20% off code or have summit match that price. tti are overpriced IMO. Not worth the extra money and Dougs do the job.

X2 on TTI.
TTI's may make a bit more more HP and/or help more with any future mods because they are 1 5/8"-1 3/4" stepped while Doug's are 1 5/8" straight.

How about the shorty headers, middle of the road, better than a manifold and not as good as a full header. Webby

Doug's with the 20% off code on autozone.com. Went in perfectly fine. Don't touch anything. Installed them by jacking up one side of engine at a time. Installed in my 74 duster with 360 stroker

It uploaded pictures for some reason i didn't even upload I've been having alot of trouble with this forum lately. Then when I tried deleting them it didn't want to. Are you still seeing them?

TTI's for the win here also.I had 1 7/8 on a 416 w/W5 heads, and I could pull the mini starter out(just a factory Mopar Magnum starter) and they didn't hang down at all. This is after multiple Hooker headers on my milder 340 that just kept getting collapsed, even on the freeway bridge transitions. After the TTI's,no more hitting on anything,no more burned wires, and even though they were smaller then recommended for my engine it still allowed the car to break into the 9's.I just bought a set of 2 inch for my Ebody from a member.I think whatever they lose in horsepower they more then make up for in fit.Well worth the $.
