That is an awesome dart you found to start your build with. Very nice :) In the beginning you mentioned autocross, and you changed it over to that awesome front suspension. What is your plan with the rear suspension and the wheel setup for autocross?

Currrent plan is to keep the ladder bar coil over suspension for this year and see how it does and as far as the tires go I plan on running 315/35r17 R888 tires on 17x11 Street lites rear wheels and just keep the front tires and wheels on. Also need to ditch the spool for another system not sure on wheat though

Some more photos over the past year

As most of probably know a lady t boned my old car "the beast" well last night I brought home the newest member of our family she is a 1967 dodge dart gt hardtop she is a ladder bar car with a full cage (12 point) small tire to and there is a mark Williams 9 inch under the rear with 4.86 rear gears

The game plan
- replace the rear gears with 3.92
- put the 526 under the hood
- sway bars front and rear
-17 inch wheels all the way around
- custom interior
- custom sound system
- custom headers
- paint the hood black
- all qa1 adjustable shocks to all corners
- go auto cross racing
-HAVE FUN!!!!

kick *** looking car, EXCEPT for the hood scoop ! Really screws up the looks of the car!

You have WAY too much fab talent. I hope you ditched the wheel lights. They look like something a 14 year old would hang on a car. The rest of it is awesome. I REALLY like the painted wheels. You make the rears?

The Wheel lights are still on there.

Their for a safety purpose as when i am driving the fronts will be red and the rears ambers.

The reason for this is a result of my accident my previous dart where i got the fault because the police and the lady who t boned me both said the car had no side visibility even though it was fitted with the 68 side marker lights

I would have fought that so fast, a first year law student would have won that case easy.

Yes we are fighting it, its been 5 years now in october and this matter is still unresolved. They dropped the ticket they gave me but apparently that doesn't change the blame of the accident. Still trying to get things straightened out and get some money out of her for my car.

What kind of moron wrote that law? That's how the car left the factory. It's still legal to drive in that condition.

True, BUT, young officers (a term loosely used) do not always know there *** from there elbow and sometimes there pretend that way.

Case in point, old friends received several tickets during a crack down period of hot rodders (AKA Any loud car with a Cragger rims) for modified turn signal lights. Getting a redundant 3 tickets.

Them early Cougar’s we’re taking a beating until the Appellate courts correct the lower (bumb *** judges) courts to correct the officers now involved with a mass suite of harassment. 12 plus years in the making.... so wonderful the mighty Empire State was.
