different angle. only taped the pipes up so i can align them all the way to the manifolds. then tac and have them welded. i cant weld not even leave a solid tac in place to hold.

Looks like your work is progressing nicely. I still need to get by and see it!

what i find strange is the few dislikes i got the last few weeks. it is like they did not even look ay the end of this thread to see. it is still mopar powered and just started crying and stomped away like children.

I wouldn't worry about it. Lots of people in the Mopar world are of the opinion that everything should be restored to original. Forge ahead and build your car!

Yo dream
Yo car
Yo money

Hot roddin 101......different folks are different strokes (or something like that)

Personally, I am thankful the builds on this site are not cookie cutter.

better get to practicing or get a good buddy who doesn't mind welding. Hard to fab a project like that without welding.

yea my chassis guy will weld it all up and do the down pipe and cold side. those parts are aluminum and big.

My moms Volvo is a straight six with a twin scroll, not sure how big the turbo is but that thing is damn fast, spools almost instantly. I can't imagine a 3G hemi with one, gunna be wild. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

should be like a light switch before 3000rpms with my compression goals and billet turbo wheel. the turbine wheel is a touch small but i should be able to max out the turbo on both sides.

got some other stuff done. its getting there. trying to get some last stuff done before hopefully engine built in coming weeks. running and racing by april is my ultimate goal.

Looking good! Now that the holidays are over I need to get out in the garage and start on my winter projects. It's just been too damned cold lately. I work outside all day and all I want to do when I get home is sit by the fireplace.

Looks good! My manifold was a plumbing nightmare as well.

Bring that bad boy back up to Havana this summer. Lots of high HP streetcars running there this year!

as for havana, well i plan to once the bugs get worked out and i got some solid data on the cars likes and dont likes. currenlty im down for the count. i go under the knife next week for a little repair myself. hopefully back up and going in 7 weeks from today. fingers crossed anyways. cars on hold more or less. if i can do small things without hurting myself ill do so. such as paint and sand the engine bay all over again...not in that order of course. lol.
figure out some type of carpeting idea and rear seat needs done now. as it is just the frame and bare springs.

wow finally someone who had the same thinking I did. I've been contemplating this orientation of turbo and radiator for quite some time now. which radiator did you go with? I found one from a 64-66 mustang that would fit in between the core support and behind the bumper, its a 2 row aluminum and measures 19'' x 21 1/2'' x 3". Mine is a street car not a drag car though, and will only be running a 78mm. bravo on the build too, keep up the hard work.
