With all the work you can do, the trans would be easy.

I see 2/0 and 2ga cable, what's the plan with that stuff?

Sucks being a photobucket victim...

I ditched the Mopar starter solenoid, and went to a fox mustang style solenoid.

2/0 wire for trunk mounted solenoid to starter only (grounds as well for whats left of it)
2ga is for alternator charge wire (from alt to trunk)
4ga is new constant main feed from trunk to an isolated stud on driver fender well

Took a break and got the pics from last March up until last night down loaded and sorted - there is over 100 so it will be a little lol

Videos of the car in April 2017.

First is it idling for the first time on it's own.

Next is driving it down the highway outside my neighborhood that was done on Snapchat (that's why it's only 10 seconds long)

Mopars in the Park! - I left out the 100 pics of the show cars, just a few that I think are cool being it was my first time in 6 years bringing a car to the show, and first time driving in the show in the show car entrance..

Parked next to a real FC7 440 6 pack 70 Charger R/T

Last is the parts I picked up - 7 blade fan, original 22" shroud, $40 right tail light (was cracked), and a bunch of decals

Right after Mopars I installed the shroud, 7 blade fan, and a 180* Tstat - this was the best it got - was able to drive it down to about 20mph with this combo, and it get hot and cool back down once moving..

Sitting at my friends place in New Richmond WI

Went to the New Richmond car show w/ friends (Raced the blue Bronco after this show and SMOKED him - had 2 car's pm him before the 1/8 mile - was going 80mph)

Sunday before leaving Wisconsin I bolted the steel wheels and original hub caps on it, and drove down to the old Bugatti warehouses in North Hudson Wi to recreate the pic posted from 1993-4 when we first bought the car..

Took my friends inlaws for a ride in the car, turned around in someone's driveway and lit her up thru 1st gear in front of their house haha - bad pic but the mark is easily 100ft long LOL

New cooling system 75% done, need to cut the electric fans up to fit, then mount to rad. figure out how to affix the upper rad mounts, and seal the top of the rad to the core. Fan controllers will be wired with the rest of the new wiring..

You car looks fantastic with the Blacked out hood and Dog dishes. If you mind me asking, what do you have to do to use the Crown Vic drive shaft?

You car looks fantastic with the Blacked out hood and Dog dishes. If you mind me asking, what do you have to do to use the Crown Vic drive shaft?

I ordered-
Strange 8.75 29 spline rear pinion yoke for 1350 U joint
Strange A727 yoke for 1350 U joint
Moog 1350 solid U joints (2)

The shaft has to be cut to length, and rebalanced to use it - it is at least 12" longer than a typical a body shaft.

Install the pinion flange on the rear axle
Put the trans yoke all the way in, and pull out 1"
Measure center to center on the U joints with the trans level, an rear axle at ride height

Well guys another small-big update!

Driveshaft is done! Transmission was started as well hopefully be done soon!

Got my taxes back
$325 refund from Summit Racing
So why not build a 742 center section!

Made a few conscious decisions and the restored heater box is coming out! - trading it to a friend for a 2.93 open 742 center to rebuild!

Also trading my 741 center w/ 3.73's for a pair of nice fiberglass bumpers + $250 cash

So Monday I am ordering from Dr Diff-
742 bearing rebuild kit
3.91 gear set
35 spline spool w/ bearings
35 spline stock length axles
10 spline 1350 yoke

Well pretty big update -

Finally getting warmer out, knocking big parts off the list!

New built 727 is done (bolt in sprag, billet servos, 4.2 band lever, alto red clutches, kolene steels, good bands, and cleaned the Turbo Action manual valvebody I had)

Bought all the parts for the rear axle, and finally after 3 weeks of trying traded my car's heater box for a 8.75 742 bare case. Dropped the parts off last Monday, and finished it tonight (4 days). Richmond 4.10 gear set, Dr. Diff 35 spline spool, Strange chromoly 1350 pinion flange w/ billet aluminum joint caps, and ARP ring gear, bearing cap bolts for it as well.

New driveshaft is 1/4" shorter than the stock one, and got that done a few months ago actually haha

Got Dr. Diff 35 spline axles as well, and didn't like the included wheel studs. Ordered stock length 68-70 B body axles w/ screw in wheel studs. Ordered a set of 10 ARP 1/2" screw in wheel studs.

Lastly ordered and installed custom print hood decals - Will update pics next week sometime of them installed on the hood..

Tonight I'm painting the 8.75 housing black, and tomorrow night I will install the new center, and the Dr Diff axles, as well as put a stock valve body in the old trans and drop that out of the car, so I can roll it out and clean the garage this weekend! So til then!
