The VIN is on the passenger side of the block near the oil pan rail, that is what you need to take a picture of!
Then post a picture of the VIN number stamp from above the oil pan on the passenger front of the block... Then they can see if it matches their car...
From the casting date, it's either a very late 70 model, or most likely from a 71 model car....
I will predict it's from an early 71 car....

I looked it up. One of the jewels along Old 395.
