Anti Thief devices.... what works

Great ideas guys. Thanks. To answer a few questions: I do not have a garage, I park in my driveway. I am leaning towards the lock cable to frame (hood to frame) and use a battery quick disconnect. Although I do have a tach, but I am a little unclear as to how to ground it? It is coming off an HEI ecoil, that has 2 wires that both act as tach, so one goes to tach in car, the other goes to the HEI. Are you saying by ground one of those feeds the car wont start?

What it amounts to is you put a switch between coil NEG and ground. If you have a tach, you already have a wire into the interior, just tee into it and put an unobtrusive toggle to ground.

Putting switches in the neutral safety? Waste of time. Most thieves know how to jumper a starter, and the Mopars are EASY. You need something that will slow them down to troubleshoot.

If I live long enough to get my 67 back together, not even the starter relay will be in the engine bay.

One problem with these girls is that it's just not that easy to lock the hood. My old 63 SS Chev you could just throw a chain and padlock through the hood latch
