69 barracuda fastback back glass gasket

stainless is just trim over the gasket,, clips are screwed into the window opening on the body. I did the conversion on my 67
To tell you the truth... I don't remember if the "original" clips were spot welded into the gutter or screwed into the gutter. It was years ago when I replaced the rear glass seal. I do know that the replacement clips are screwed into the gutter. In my case, I live in a very humid "sticky" environment so I completely removed the clips (that usually corrode) and had the glass man replace the stainless trim with rubber trim after under coating the gutter. I owned a 67 FB Barracuda in the 70s and found that one of the first places they rust is under the rubber trim (in the glass channel) or under stainless trim. The worst part of the stainless trim is that water/leaves/dirt/etc can get into the gutter (under the trim) and you can't see it. The damp "crap" just sits there and rusts away. So to make sure my Barracuda last forever I removed the clips (usually where the rust begins) and sealed off the whole area. But that just me!!
