Looking to get headers for my 73 340.. tried to get the tti but can't find a distributor to have them..don't want shorty headers.anyone have any luck

Peter Bergman is a TTI dealer as well, and a member here, @GMachineDartGT. Bergman Autocraft is his business. He doesn’t list them on his site but that’s where I got my TTI shorties, and he should be able to get the long tubes too.
On long island . .. right.. someone mentioned him before I believe.might have been you..I'll chk it out tho.. thanks

Hughes engines sells them. They also sell them in black coating which is not listed on the Tti site.

TTI Shorty.

Look forward to meeting and working with you on my car to meet my goals!!
I have known of Pete for a long while on the net and while I could throw in “He is a good fella!” on his internet reputation alone, meeting him and chewing the fat with Pete was a pure pleasure. His shop will probably drop your jaw. The crew at the shop is super busy. Big and beautiful place.
Let me know if you wanna go. I’ll hitch a ride.

How do guys like these shortie TTi headers? Fit, ease of install? Do you really have to use different trans linkage for the installation as they recommend?
Yeah, the kickdown linkage has to be modified. I went the easy route and installed a Lokar kickdown cable. Works fine.

One other bit of advice: Attach the downtubes (between headers and tailpipes) before installing the headers in the car. Those nuts/bolts on the flanges are just about impossible to get to once they are in the car!
