Anybody else? Click on a thread, click to start or edit a post and the darn thing just sits there and looks at you. Several other boards and no other sites I visit are doin this...........
 
it's running in the 30 sec bracket, needs a tuneup
 
Not here (Spectrum internet) ...delete your cache. In chrome is SHIFT-CTRL-DELETE, then clear cached images and files, and the others if you want to be logged out of everything. Sometimes an old script causes a loop and slows your page load down until it gives up and moves on.

My runs slow also. Thanks for the tip.
 
firefox here, this page never finishes loading, always have the little blue dot bouncing back and forth, just this forum. other forums ok. ?

Firefox has been a PITA for me. Google freaks me out with all its connectivity. I'll give it a whirl.

Yea it’s been weird lately. Problem comes and goes.
 
If you just want to surf and not participate, private browsing really speeds things up for me.
 
Go to settings, site setting, and turn off java. if this helps, great but it will cause certain things not to work on the site like editing posts. This is just a troubleshooting tip, not a permanent fix as you'll find other things not working too. If that fixes, try reloading java. Some pc's have java auto/manual update turned off because the constant nags it gives you.
 
I closed this ad 3 times as inappropriate and when it loaded again, it bogged for 10 seconds. It may be an ad script.

had some connectivity issues here, updated service with new modem, seems better now. still haven't cleared cache, will do that tonight.

I freekin HATE the way chrome is laid out. Seems like they designed it for a smart phone and then hacked it into "us reg'lar" computer guys.

Gotta thro in here, speed comes and goes terribly on mine once in a while, and I don`t change crap !
