Max tire size on stock 70 Swinger
I just bought like-new Cragar wheels with like-new BFG TAs already on them. The price was right so I snatched them up. Now that I have them, I need to determine if they will fit my 70 Swinger with stock front suspension, stock rear spring location, and Ford 9” rear, all LBP hubs. I don’t want to modify spring location or wheel wells or fenders. I’m hoping someone has this exact setup or similar and can provide firsthand experience and advice.
I’ve looked at other posts and found some info but nothing matching my specs.
Cragar S/S Std offset wheels
Front 15x7, 235/60-R15
Rear 15x8, 275/60-R15
Of course the guy who sold them to me assured me they will fit but I honestly think the tires are too big. I do have a 71 Challenger I can put the tires on if so.
