Please help me identify a cure! (Bodywork Newbie here)

I think he meant using lead (the soft metal you shouldn't eat) to fill pin holes and pits. It's a lost art but maybe you could?

Yessir Dan, I'm real familiar with lead boxy work sir. I used to suck on fishing weights all the time when I was a child. I won't be doing that however. I ordered the trunk pieces today and will begin my welding technique refinement study next week. I want it fixed right. I may be old, and I am, but I only want to do this once! Thanks Bud!

Picked up some $60 gallon bondo from the auto body supplier in town last week or so. Yeah, it's expensive up front but it is pinhole free when dried, sands like butter smooth with ease. It eliminates the need for a glazing putty, grips extremely tight, can by used over primer without compromising it's hold.

It's funny you bring this up Penstarpurist, I bought a gallon of pricey 3M stuff yesterday too mybe it's the same product. If not it doesn't matter. .023 wire and Argon mix will take care of it.

Thank you all for the help!

I will read about the proper application of Ospho and Rust Mort!
