Please help me identify a cure! (Bodywork Newbie here)

Lol, I agree with welding in the pinholes or cutting out the bad and welding in replacement metal. I use the body filler to smooth out the little imperfections left behind, never to fill actual holes in the sheet metal, no matter how good the filler is. I've got lots of donor cars and sheet metal. As I'm an old man as well, and my back hurts already without hunching over anything for hours. Haha. Have a great evening as well.
