I like it, just because most dont run a chrome one like that.

What i want is a mini alternator, lite weight/compact. I would like to do some weighing if various candidate/donors from newer models, shave a few lbs and rid one less part to fail from rpm. I keep having P.S woes as well from winding 6700

Don't forget with a 100 amp out you need to up date the wiring.
That small wire wont take 100 amp for long and your going to get a big voltage drop that will make more heat.

I already knew that.Thank you for watching out for me.I could burn down my car!

AndyF makes a bracket for a 50 amp mini altinator. I think Mancini,440 scouce, summit, and others sells it.I need more or else would bought his.

I found a place near me that rebuilds starters and alternators and makes their own windings in house... They quoted us two days to rebuild our alternator and did it within one day...

It works much better than the junk off the parts store shelf... :BangHead:

Unless there is something going on, like a huge audio system or a refrigerator in there, 100 amps is probably 60 amps more than you will ever need. A 100 amp wire is huge, I would use no more than a 12 or 10awg wire for that

Truth hurt?
No.If I wanted a Denso I'd already had one but 60 amp ain't enough!Things happen sometimes and not everyone does things perfect and it leads up to 50 amp electric fans! Not everyone knows where to find the right fan blades and fan shrouds. Then in part is coulda been my old motor. But my car will have no problem cruising in the heat. Its kinda like when I had my Camaro I use to beat people with lighter cars and bigger engines but I didn't say anything. And when people use to try to tell me to do this or that and they had a slower car I didn't listen.
