anyone running an air-gap intake on a 66 dart? hood clearance issues?
i am just eyeballing it, but i don't think it will clear.

The intake isn’t the issue, the air cleaner is the problem. What Air Cleaner are you wanting to use? 71-73 Single snorkel, 68/9 340/383 unsilenced?? After market?

On my son Jake's 65 B'cuda, no relation to the above mentioned Jake, he went with the airgap on his stroked 360. We used the original 273 thin mounts and he had to get a dropped base air cleaner. Went to pep boys and picked up a generic 14 inch air cleaner for about 18 bucks. Used the base and put his mopar performance lid on it. I've got no pics of it on my new phone and he lives 1.25 hours away....

I know I'm right....
Yes, ran a Holley Strip Dominator with a drop based air cleaner. No prob.
