I sold my E body rear and bought a B body for my Duster. Fit perfect with advice from the guys here on proper backspace. I made money on it. Don’t ruin an E body rear. Sell it and fund what you need.
Agreed! if you do this you'll never be able to rotate your tires 'cause front and rear offsets would be so different.
If you can't find an A, 8-3/4, then how about an 8-1/4, or pre '71 B body 8-3/4, or even an F body 8-1/4 might be Ok.
